Chamberlain Hotel C bar Sydney

Enjoy at C Bar Sydney..
Chamberlain Hotel Sydney Australia

Chamberlain Hotel also known as C-Bar, is a classic pub and bar in the Haymarket area, the heart of Sydney's CBD. Located at the corner of Pitt Street and Campbell Street (428 Pitt St), it's close to Central Station and the Capitol Theatre, just a short walk from the train station. It's perfect for pre- or post-show drinks or chilling after work. Its highlight is authentic Thai food, considered by many to be among the best in Sydney, such as crab fried rice, seafood salad, and spicy pork salad—truly authentic Thai flavors, not fusion. Plus, it offers typical pub menu items.
Atmosphere: An old-school Aussie pub with a strong Thai vibe. There's live music every day (mostly Thai cover bands playing fun songs), making it lively and perfect for dancing late into the night.
Drinks: Inexpensive beer (including authentic Beer Lao), cocktails, and wine are available during Happy Hour Monday-Friday 4 PM-6 PM (e.g., beer pint $8, wine $6).
Other: There's a poker room with pokies and a tab for horse racing/sports betting. The atmosphere is casual, not 5-star luxury, but very fun and chill.
Upstairs is C-Lux, a hidden high-end cocktail bar. Separate from the main bar.

Most reviews praise the Thai food and live music, but some mention slow service during peak hours or food that might be too spicy for some. Overall, Tripadvisor ratings are around 3.8-4 stars. Open from morning until late (approximately 10:00 AM - 2:00 AM or later). If you like a pub with delicious Thai food, fun music, and a lively atmosphere, this is perfect. It's not a fancy hotel bar, but it has a genuine local charm.
